MetalIreland.com (IR): "This cd is something of a revelation, and a much needed caffiene injection to a genre whose recent obsessiveness over studio wizardry has sapped life from all but the very best." Tartarean Desire Webzine (S): "...I hope that this band continues to make music for many years (and I hope that Dan Seagrave does all of the cover art), recommended to fans of Suffocation and “old school death metal” in general."

| April 27th 2006 | Tais leaves Usipian
|
Tais has decided to leave Usipian. He has for quite some time been running a tight schedule playing in 2 bands and at the same time taking care of his family and job. Contrary to rehearse 4 days a week he wants to spend more time with his son, and this sadly leaves no time for Usipian. We are sorry to se him go, but fully understand his decision. We wish him good luck in the future.
It is important to stress though, that Tais' departure will NOT affect the process of songwriting. For the last years, he has not contributed much to Usipian in any significant way.
Of course we are looking for a replacement. If you think you have what it takes to be a guitarist in Usipian, please contact or .

Metal Warrants [in english]: "...However, the lyrics are definitely not to be understood politically or humanistic, they are downright pessimistic. After all, it is death metal we are playing."
