The final testament "In Skinless Form" is now out on Nuclear Winter Records (NWR).
The release - that comes in a luxurious digipack limited to 500 copies - contains three tracks that were recorded at Sweet Silence Studios with producer Flemming Rasmussen (Metallica, Morbid Angel, Artillery, King Diamond etc.) in September 2006.
Originally it was a pre-recording (intended for promotional purposes only) of tracks that was meant to later appear on the follow up to the Usipian debut album, "Dead Corner of the Eye". Therefore this particular recording from Sweet Silence Studio was initially not meant to be released, but now - after the band split up - it sees the light of day as a final 'testament' of the band.
Besides the three tracks "In Skinless Form" also contain the two tracks from the 7-inch EP, "Clouded Restrainment" (2004), as a bonus. Those two tracks were both later re-recorded for the debut album, but this particular recording has never before been released on cd.
The tracklist is as follows:
1. In Skinless Form
2. Flag of Our Fathers
3. Second To Nothing
4. Clouded Restrainment (bonus)
5. Shadows of the Once Unseen (bonus)
Total playing time: 24:21

We are sorry to announce that Usipian no longer exists due to differences within the band in regard to musical direction.
The final testament of Usipian will be a MCD/7-inch EP containing three tracks recently recorded in Sweet Silence Studios with Flemming Rasmussen. More info will be posted here and on
www.myspace.com/usipian and look out for mp3 samples soon.
Toke, Jeppe and Andreas have formed a new yet unnamed band (info coming soon) and Kent and Nis will later on form a new death metal band.
Nis and Jeppe will continue playing in Strychnos.
Kent will continue playing in Vardlokkur, Holmgang and Angantyr.
We wish to thank all the people, bands and magazines that have supported Usipian throughout the years.
